Comprehensive BMS system for shopping mall Wzorocownia
SystemSmart is proud to announce the completion of another strategic project, this time for EPP sp. z o.o., the manager of Wzorocownia Shopping Gallery. As part of this investment, we completed a modern and comprehensive building management system (BMS), which significantly increases the operational efficiency of the facility.
What is a BMS?
A BMS, or Building Management System, is an advanced building automation system that integrates and controls the various installations and technical equipment in a facility. The main tasks of the BMS include monitoring, managing and optimising systems such as ventilation, heating, air conditioning, lighting, security systems (e.g. fire protection, alarms) and energy management systems.
The BMS works by collecting data from the various sensors and devices deployed in a building and then processing this information to make decisions about the optimal control of the building’s systems. For example, a BMS can automatically adjust interior lighting according to the amount of daylight, resulting in significant energy savings.
As well as being a tool for automation and optimisation, the BMS is also a key element in managing building operating costs and ensuring occupant comfort and safety.
Scope of work
As part of the project, our company was responsible for implementing the BMS system, which includes:
- Ventilation control: Automated management of ventilation systems, ensuring optimal indoor air quality.
- Lighting management: Intelligent lighting control, adapting to outdoor and indoor conditions, leading to significant energy savings.
- Energy consumption monitoring: Collection and analysis of energy consumption data, enabling the identification of areas where additional savings can be made.Technologie i rozwiązania
The project uses advanced PLCs from Delta, which form the heart of the BMS. These controllers are characterised by high reliability and flexibility, allowing the system to be easily adapted to the specific needs of the facility. In addition, as part of the investment we made completely new control cabinets, which were designed for long-term and trouble-free operation.
Training and implementation
In addition to the implementation of the BMS system itself, SystemSmart also carried out comprehensive training for the staff of the Wzorocownia Shopping Gallery. The training covered the operation of the new system, as well as the principles of maintenance and upkeep. As a result, the staff are fully prepared for the day-to-day management of the facility’s modern infrastructure.

This investment represents a significant step in modernising and increasing the operational efficiency of the Wzorocownia Shopping Gallery, while also helping to reduce operating costs and increase user comfort.
